New Cell Phones for 2012
In recent years Apple phones have set the bench mark for their innovation with cell phones. 2012 will probably be no different in this respect. This is only of course if you prefer touch screen phone technology. Cell phones due for release in 2012 range from Samsung, Nokia and HTC who all aim to give apple a run for their money.
Android Phones are undoubtedly going to be big as Samsung, Sony Ericsson and HTC become more adventurous in 2012. Symbian technology Mobile Phones will also be there or there abouts to push Apple and Android harder. Do not rule out windows, who of course are better known for their laptops and pcs - could their mobile phones be a surprise package for 2012 ?
Samsung Galaxy S3
Recently talk from the Korean manufacturer Samsung has been mainly about the release of their latest Android operating software called Ice Cream Sandwich. A new phone however, is looming on the horizon which not only supercedes the current Samsung Galaxy S2 best-seller, but also incorporates the latest OS - The Samsung Galaxy S3.
The new Samsung Galaxy S3 will officially be the fastest on the market with a massive 18GHz dual core processor. This together with a staggering 12 mega pixel camera will make this phone very popular.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 currently features a 1.2GHz dual core chip and an 8 mega pixel camera which is already a very advanced smart phone.
A larger 4.6 inch touch screen display will feature - Super AMOLED, the same technology as the current Samsung Galaxy S2 but even bigger, but a more noticeable feature will be the new shape of the handset. The Galaxy S2 is a square and slim design measuring just 8.9mm at its thinnest end. The new Samsung Galaxy S3 will be a more rounded design often found in the Wave range of handsets but is also reported to actually be slimmer than the current model.
The latest Android OS was delayed by Google out of respect for the late Steve Jobs. Launch event date has also been put back.
It is expected that the Galaxy S3 will be launched alongside the new Google Galaxy Nexus.
Samsung Admire
The Samsung Admire, created for Metro PCS, is another part of Android's target onto cell phone prescence from pre-paid service providers. The Admire is not long on capabilities and will be good enough to keep you busy for playtime as well as work. The simple layout is easy to deal with, though not precisely durable, the display screen is bright without being over the top. The Admire, overall, is a good product with many bonus functions and variable call quality.

Features
The capacity of the Admire's phone book is limited by the installed memory. Not huge at 196MB.
Basic features are installed such as a calculator, a calendar you can configure several accounts, voice search and voice commands, multimedia and text messaging, instant messaging, file manager, Bluetooth, wi-fi, a full Web browser, an alarm clock. On-board E-mail with support for IMAP4, POP3 and Gmail accounts.
The Admire features applications such as app store and android market via the Metro PCS. A few applications come pre-installed such as Loopt, a separate Weather and news widget; Pocket Express; and ThinkFree Office, that provides a cut-down word processor, presentation and spreadsheet functions with Microsoft Office compatibility. It's not a bad collection, and you also get the common Android os applications such as Google Latitude, Google Places, YouTube, Google Maps with Navigation, Google Talk and Google Books.
